James Herbert Lanier, 75, of Bennett, died Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. David Millikan.
James was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County and a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation and was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ray Sr. and Iris Adams Lanier and step brother, Walter Ray Lanier Jr.
Survivors: wife, Linda Edwards Lanier, of the home, sister, LaRue L. Kinney, of Asheboro, half brother, Ted Lanier of Sophia, three nieces and three nephews.
