Wayne proudly served in the United States Navy. As noted in the original Navy fight song, Wayne had, “Faith, courage, service true with honor over, honor over all.”
Wayne loved his family and played an active role in the lives of his nieces and nephews. He loved to laugh and live life to the fullest. Wayne did not sweat the small stuff. He lived large focusing on what matters the most: love, laughter, family, friendship, golf, and coffee.
He worked at Hardees and Thomas Built Buses early in his career before joining Thomas Tire where he worked alongside family and friends for many years. He was a well-respected and hardworking member of the Thomas Tire team.
