Hampton Lee "Buster" Kivett, 85, of Staley, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
Graveside Services, 3 PM, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Whites Chapel Community Church, Liberty, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Officiating, Rev. Michael Mills.
Buster was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, a 1957 graduate of Ramseur High School, and a veteran of the United States Army. He spent his career as a poultry farmer, growing for Goldkist, enjoyed working his cattle, playing golf, and flying planes after receiving his pilot license. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Dora Kivett, and grandson, Jason Kivett.
Survivors: daughter, Debby Lynn Kivett, of Ramseur, granddaughter, Amy Brady, of Houston TX, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Dakota Lee Kivett, of Staley, Zina Brady, Dallas Brady, Jr., Haven Brady, all of Houston, TX, nephew, Mike Kivett, and wife, Karen, of Staley.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
