Hal Gant Leonard, 82, of Ramseur, died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at his residence.
Memorial Services, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Hal was a native and longtime resident of Randolph County. He attended Ramseur High School and was the owner of Leonard's Gulf and Ramseur Mobile Home Supply & Service. He was co-founder and President of the Zooland Region AACA which held annual bicycle giveaways for charity and car show events. His hobbies included hours of restoring numerous personally owned antique automobiles to their all-original condition, in which he entered at car show events abroad and also judging a wide range of antique car show events. Hal received many trophies and award plaques. His interest in antique automobiles was treasured. He held pride in business and work while compassionate for others. Hal attended Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Marietta Lodge #444. He was an avid and desirable member of the community and he cherished friends and family. Hal will be remembered and loved by many. Hal was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hodgin Leonard, parents, Edward "Ed" and Margaret Gant Leonard, brother, Sydney Leonard and sister, Sylvia Sutherland.
Survivors: daughter, Elizabeth Leonard "Beth" Mace, and husband, Curtis, of Ramseur, son, John Michael "Mike" Leonard, and wife, Leigh, of Ramseur, brothers, Patrick "Pat" Leonard, and wife, Sandra, of Liberty, Eddie Leonard, and wife, Debbie, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Adrain Anderson, Peyton Leonard, Morgan Haney, Emily Leonard, sister-in-law, Hilda Leonard, of Franklinville, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
