Gertrude Kimrey, 83, of Liberty, died Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Graveside Services, 2 PM, Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Whites Chapel Community Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Pastor Michael Mills, Debi Hardman.

Gertrude was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Liberty. She was a member of Whites Chapel Community Church and was employed for many years as a machine operator at Texfi in Liberty. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, Fleming and Pearl Williams Kimrey, sisters, Golda Johnson, Areline Curtis, Ruhedell Gunter, and brother, Vernon Kimrey.

Survivors: sister, Marie Allred, of Asheboro, sister-in-law, Shirley Kimrey, brother-in-law, Charles Gunter, nieces, Debi Hardman, Cecilia Snider, Andra Welch, nephews, Mike Gunter, Randy Kimrey.

The body will lie in repose from noon until 5 PM, Saturday, at the Loflin Funeral Home.
