Floyd Jackson "Jack" Welborn, 82, of Asheboro, died Friday, August 20, 2021.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Jason Baker, Rev. Leon Thompson.

Burial, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, Ramseur.

Jack was a native of Randolph County and retired as the Shipping Director for Arrow International, Inc. He was a faithful member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church where he was a former usher and currently served as a communion steward and assistant Sunday School Superintendent. Jack was a humble and patient man of Christian integrity who always wore a smile and had a hug ready for everyone. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed meeting with friends for a game of golf several times a week. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Inez McDowell Welborn, parents, John Leonidas and Rosa Kidd Welborn, sisters, Joyce Kinney, Esther Juanita  Kinney, Edna Welborn, Lelia Welborn, brothers, Cleo Welborne, Carl Sidney Welborn, Jay Clegg Welborn, Delano Welborn, Glen Ray Welborn, half-sisters, Fleta Thomas, Mozelle Dixon, half-brother, Colon Welborn

Survivors: wife, Sylvia W. Isom Welborn, of the home, daughter, Regina Maness and husband, Johnny, of Denton, son, Renay Welborn and wife, Doris, of Franklinville, sisters, Lillie Isley, of Ramseur, Velna Williamson, of Franklinville, Gladys Byrd and husband, Jim, of Asheboro, step-son, Gene Isom and wife, Angie, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Dallas Ann Hurley and husband, Robert, of Ramseur, Jared Todd Welborn and wife, Misty-Dawn Welborn, of Canada, Avery Jackson Maness, of Denton, Brandon Isom, Addyson Isom, great-grandchildren, Reid Hurley, Benjamin Welborn, numerous nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in repose on Saturday, August 28th, from noon until 5 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
