Flossie was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed with Sapona Manufacturing and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Causey and Justeen Coble Aldridge, sister, Treasie A. Hutchens, brothers, Thomas Aldridge, Johnsie Aldridge.

Survivors: husband, George Jones, of the home, daughter, Linda Edwards, of Thomasville, son, Randy Griffin, and wife Paula, of Franklinville, step-son, Billy Jones, and wife Kim, of Thomasville, sister, Maggie Griffin, of Milton, FL, brother, Joe Aldridge, of Hamburg, NY, grandchildren, Joe Edwards, Tonya Branch, Jennifer Boysworth, Kara Williamson, Anthony Jones, Brandy Jones, great-grandchildren, Herman Branch, Trent Edwards, Kristin Branch, Nathan Brown, Niasha Edwards, Shaylee Edwards, Chloe Morales, Madilyn Williamson.
