Etta Jane Hutson Roberts, 64, of Asheboro, died Friday, September 11, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Private Funeral Services, 11 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Liberty Road Baptist Church, Randleman.

Officiating, Rev. Don Ashley.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Etta was a native of Randolph county, a longtime resident of Asheboro, and was an employee of the N.C. Zoological Park for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Jarrell Hutson.

Survivors: husband, Steve Roberts, of the home, sisters, Judy Greene, of Asheboro, Elaine Boggs, of Asheboro, brothers, Jimmy Hutson, and wife, Dot, of New Hope, Ronnie Hutson, and Lisa Anderson, of Grays Chapel, nephews, Jeff Kivett, Kevin Laprad, Josh Hutson, nieces, Amy Kivett, Rachael Hodge, Cheryl Ly, Christy Hutson, Kara Kivett, Mia Ashley.

The body will lie in state on Monday, September 14th from noon until 5 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home.
