Elvie Howell Stanley, 86, of Asheboro, formerly of Liberty, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Darren Kinzer, Rev. L.N. Stanley.

Burial, Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Liberty.

Elvie was a native of Patrick County, Virginia and a longtime resident of Asheboro. She attended Full Gospel Revival Center of Galax, VA and was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Elvie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ray Stanley, her parents, David and Lucy Bowman Howell, her sisters, Carrie Johnson, Opal Scott, Lula Mae Hylton, Delsie Howell, and brothers, Albert Handy, Walter Howell, Luther Howell, Harmon Howell, Samuel Howell, Jim Howell, Joseph Howell, and Clarence Howell.

Survivors: son, Jeff Stanley, and wife, Sheila, of Asheboro, brothers, Glenn Howell, of Meadows of Dan, VA, Homer Howell, and wife, Pat, of Pine Bluff, Wesley Howell, and wife, Doretha, of Burlington, Wayne Howell, of Burlington, grandchildren, Montana Stanley, Richard Hart, Beth Hammer.

Visitation, 1 PM to 1:45 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
