Eleanor Williams Lindley

Eleanor Williams Lindley, 89, of Snow Camp, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Alamance House in Burlington.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Friday, October 18, 2019, at Cane Creek Friends Meeting, 719 W. Greensboro Chapel Hill Rd., Snow Camp.

Officiating, Dr. Cheryl Benson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Eleanor was a native of Alamance County and a longtime resident of Snow Camp. She worked for many years as a nurse at Moses Cone Hospital. Eleanor will be fondly remembered for her excellent quilt making abilities and her loving kindness shared with many in her community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Thompson

Survivors: loving husband of 58 years, Oscar Lindley of the residence, son, Darryl Cranford, and wife, Kathy, of Texas, sister, Elizabeth "Tiz" Garner, husband, Carroll, and their children, Cary and Dawn, of Hamlet, NC, grandson, Christopher Cranford, Many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Friday, Cane Creek Friends Meeting, Snow Camp.
