Dora "Marie" Koenig

Dora Marie Rentz Koenig, 49, of Liberty, previously of Louisiana, died Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Marie was more than a sweet and caring woman. She was a daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. Her daughters and grandbabies were her world and she loved them more than life itself. Despite her health issues, Marie was always caring and thinking about others first. She will be dearly missed but we will carry her spirit on through our hearts. She was the one person family could count on no matter what. Her blue eyes shined as bright as her warm loving soul! Marie will be missed and loved from this world to next!  We love you Momma. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Rentz.

Survivors: daughters, Hope Overman and husband, Justin, of Liberty, Audriana Koenig and Katrina Koenig, of Richmond, VA, mother, Quinda Savell, of Anacoco, Louisiana, sister, Diane Silvertooth, of Kilgore, TX, brothers, Ricky Rentz, of Kilgore, TX, Elvis Reed, of Anacoco Louisiana Tracy Savell, of Kilgore, TX, grandchildren, Colton Overman, Willow Overman, both of Liberty.
