Donna Jewell Akers Freeman, 70, of Ramseur, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 905 S. Fayetteville St. in Liberty.

Private Graveside Services, Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Paul Freeman.

Donna Jewell was a native of Pulaski County Virginia and a resident of Ramseur. She was a floral designer and owned her own shop. Donna Jewell was a member of Ramseur Church of God of Prophecy where she was active in the Women's Ministry and the Choir, singing as a soloist. She also enjoyed writing plays at Christmas. Donna Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Garland Kelly and Ruth Pugh Akers.

Survivors: husband of 52 years, William Thomas Freeman, of the home, sisters, Rhonda Akers Freeman, and husband, Paul, of Ramseur, Naomi Akers Grant, and husband, Jimmy, of Liberty, Lynne Akers Cooper, and husband, Junior, of Asheboro, brothers, Dale Akers, and wife, Carol, of Ramseur, Gary Akers, and wife, Andrea, of Archdale, beloved neice, and nephews.
