Donna Smith Johnson, 66, of Trinity, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Memorial Services, 2 PM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Cornerstone Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Nathan Kiser.

Donna was a native of Guilford County and a longtime resident of Liberty, having moved to Trinity in recent years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with and watching her grandchildren grow up, whom she lovingly referred to as her "Babies". Donna was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Rebecca Brooks Smith.

Survivors: daughter, Melissa Riley, of Trinity, son, Clayton Johnson, of the home, brother, James Smith, and wife, Naomi, of Elkin, grandchildren, Macey Mayer, and husband, Dylan, of Asheboro, Victoria Riley, of Asheboro, Cristin, Madison, James-Michael, Gavin, Kathryn Dawkins, Callie and Brooks-Edward Riley, all of Trinity, her "adopted" son and daughter's, William and Hannah Sparks, Mindy Garrett, and twelve nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
