Donald Nelson "Don" Routh, 71, of Randleman, died Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Lynn Chaney, Rev. Bobby Chaney.

Don was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, was retired from Energizer, and was a member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a hard worker, had an excellent sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Don loved his dogs, "Sam" and "Little Bit". He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jimmie and Marty Nelson Harris.

Survivors: son, Eugene Routh, of Asheboro, step-mother, Emma Routh, of Grays Chapel, sisters, Terri Ernst, of Jefferson, Cindy Rich, and husband, Keith, of Randleman, brothers, Michael Routh, and wife, Sonja, of Liberty, Jed Routh, and wife, Lisa, of Grays Chapel, grandchildren, David Edward Routh, of Everett, WA, Andrew James Routh, of Pleasant Garden, Dennis Elizah Routh, of Everett, WA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
