Donald Ray Asbill, 77, of Seagrove, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.

Officiating, Rev. Bryan Maness.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Donald was a longtime resident of Randolph County, a tobacco farmer and a member of Antioch Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Garner Asbill, son, Bennie Todd Asbill, parents, Stacy and Ruth Moran Asbill, brothers, Clyde Asbill, Wade Asbill, Paul Asbill, Harold Asbill, sisters, Wilma Asbill, Elsie Kiser, and Edna Hayes.

Survivors: daughter, Toni Welch and husband, Chuck, of Asheboro, sisters, Betty Macon, of Erect, Jeanette Reeder and husband, Winfred, of Seagrove, brother, Boyce Asbill and wife, Betty, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Chas Welch, of Asheboro, Cameron Welch, of Charlotte, Caden Welch, of Asheboro.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the caregivers, nurses of Hospice of Randolph and the staff at the Randolph Hospice House.

Visitation, 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, Thursday, Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.
