Dixie Barker Kivett, 83, of Liberty, died Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Michael Thames.

Burial, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Staley.

Dixie was a native of Randolph County and 1954 graduate of Staley High School. She retired from Kellwood Corporation with 30 years of service and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Kivett, mother, Ruth Barker Cheek.

Survivors: half-sister, Phyllis Ann Beal, of Siler City, God daughter, Kathy Ibsen, and husband, John, of Staley, special care givers, Phil and Karen Carmac, of Ramseur.
