David Eugene Hege

David Eugene Hege, 79, of Franklinville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Russell Chrisco.

Burial, Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.

David was a native of Davidson County and a longtime resident of Randolph County. He was formerly employed in the construction industry and a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Hege York, parents, Connie and Thelma Waller Hege, sisters, Rhonda Koontz and Linda Applebee.

Survivors: wife, Evonne Laughlin Hege, of the home, daughter, Cindy Davis and husband, Mike, of Charlotte, sons, Dale Hege and wife, Jan, of Ramseur, Lewis Brown and wife, Tonya, Rodney Brown and wife, Deanna, both of Asheboro, son-in-law, Jeff York, of Asheboro, brother, Larry Hege and wife, Joyce, of Richfield, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Loflin Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon to 5:00 PM.
