Cleta Garner Brady

Cleta Garner Brady, 85, of Coleridge,  passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Strider, Rev. Jeff Johnson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Cleta was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Coleridge. She was retired from Kayser-Roth and Faith Book Nook. Cleta was a member of Deep River Baptist Church where she loved her church family. She enjoyed painting and her garden. Cleta's grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. Cleta was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Voyage Brady, her parents, Dolphus and Vera Marley Garner, brothers, Johnny Garner and Dale Garner, sisters, Hazel Maness and Edith Bunn, son-in-law, Rayvon Cox.

Survivors: daughters, Janice Strider, and husband Tim, of Coleridge, Doris Cox, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Jeremy Strider and wife, Kirby, John Strider and wife, Jennifer, Lana Johnson and husband, Jeff, Luke Cox and wife, Dallas, great-grandchildren, Emory Johnson, Blaire Strider, Kate Strider, Layton Cox, brother-in-laws, Jerry Brady and wife, Carol, Joe Mack Brady and wife, Lynn.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
