Cheryl Floyd Summers, 61, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at her residence.

Cheryl was a native of Davidson County and a longtime resident of Franklinville. She was formerly employed in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Louise Hoover Floyd and son, Rex Cagle.

Survivors: sons, John Rush IV (Chrissy Vanzant), Michael Rush, brother, Greg Floyd, grandchildren, Braxton Rush, Elijah Rush, Katie Rush, Jordan Rush, and Trenadee Rush.
