Chuck was born in Perrysburg, Ohio, on Aug 20, 1928. He graduated from Camden High School in 1945. He continued his education at Philadelphia School of the Bible and graduated in 1949. There, Chuck met his future wife, Betty Jane Rassmussen. The couple was married on August 13, 1949.
Chuck was ordained at Camden Baptist Church in 1950, and, for the next ten years, pastored Cambria and Locust Corners churches in southern Michigan. He then moved his growing family to Grand Rapids Michigan to further his education at Grand Rapids Baptist College and Seminary. Chuck received his Bachelor of Religious Education at Grand Rapids Baptist College in 1964, and a Master of Religious Education in 1966. Over the course of his pastoral experiences, he saw the need for Christian-based schools and education. From that observation he continued and expanded his education, and in 1973, he graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of Arts in Educational Administration.
Over the course of his professional career, he taught at, and administered Christian schools in Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, New York, and North Carolina until his retirement at the age of 71. In retirement he assisted in ministry at Shadow of the Cross Baptist Church in Asheboro, NC. He also worked as a security guard, finally retiring in 2022 at age 94. He was an active member of Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur, NC, where he taught a young adult Sunday School class.
Chuck enjoyed reading history, studying his Bible, and visits from his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Rasmussen Boniface, parents, Charles Arthur Boniface and Evelyn Johnston Duchemin, and brother, David Boniface.
