Charles Marvin Allred, 93, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Charles was a native of Randolph County and was formerly a self-employed drywall installer. He was a Navy WWII Veteran, Eagle Scout and a member of Cedar Falls United Methodist Church. He made friends wherever he lived and was always touching many lives. Charles loved spending time with his family and making homemade crafts to give to others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colon Henry and Rosa Cox Allred, son, Kenneth Allred, and brother, Jack Allred.
Survivors: wife, Laura Spencer Allred, of the home, daughters, Elizabeth Lineberry and husband, Bo, of Randleman, Wanda McAlister and husband Moe, of Ramseur, son, Henry Allred and wife Lynn, of Oxford, sister, Mary Nance and husband, Dean, of Franklinville, brother, Gene Allred and wife, Louise, of Franklinville, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
