Cecil Ray Hayes, 65, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Harmon.

Cecil was a native of Chatham County and employed as a machine operator with Goldkist. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dena Brown Hayes, brothers, James Robert Hayes, Tommy Hayes, Larry Clifford Hayes.

Survivors: daughter, Brandy Bodden and husband, Ceasar, of the home, son, James Hayes, of Ramseur, sisters, Esther Jacobs, of Dunn, Beverly Owens, of Ramseur, brother, David Hayes, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Curtis, Williams, of Ramseur, Courtney Williams, Isiah Bodden, both of Franklinville, sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Hayes, nieces, Misty Owens, Celena Owens, Wandagail Graham, Patricia Bowman, Jessica Hayes, nephews, Michael Hayes, Johnny Owens, Jimmy Owens, Rodney Owens, Dustin Hayes, great nieces, Hallie McLearth, Emily McLearth, Summer Owens, Breanna Owens, Annabell Simpson, Katelynn Owens, Jayda Lanier,  Olivia Owens, Kim Hayes, Christina Andrews, great nephews, Jonathan Owens, Ryan Owens, Jeremy Owens, Taylor Owens, Tyler Owens, Liam Owens, Brycen Hayes, Nathaniel Lanier, and Jamies Hayes.

The body will lie in state from noon to 5:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Loflin Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the home of Beverly Owens, 2043 Brooklyn Avenue, Ramseur.
