Brenda Kaye (Morrison "Ward") Thompson

Brenda Kaye Morrison "Ward" Thompson, 58, of Ramseur, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Brenda was a native of Menifee County Kentucky and a resident of Ramseur. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Free Pilgrim Church in Thomasville. Brenda enjoyed music and played numerous instruments. She loved animals,growing roses, and being outdoors. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Zelda Bratcher Morrison, three brothers, and her mother and father-in law.

Survivors: husband, Roger Thompson, of the home, daughter, Onawa Thompson, of Jacksonville, FL, sons, Anthony Hammonds, of Bohol Island in the Philippines, Daniel Thompson, of Okinawa, Japan, four sisters, eight grandchildren, three sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, "Peanut".
