Bobbie "Barbara" Russell Brower, 74, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at North Pointe of Asheboro.

Barbara was a native of Moore County and a longtime resident of Randolph County. She retired from Bossong Hosiery with 31 years of service, attended Freedom Life Church of God and was a member of the Asheboro Senior Citizens. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Larry T. Brower, daughter, Tammy Hicks, parents, Lester and Annie Belle Medlin Russell, brothers, Herbert Russell, Hartsell Russell.
Survivors: daughters, Angela Carol Freeman and husband, Chris, of Seagrove, Bonnie B. King and husband, James, of Asheboro, sisters, Betty Lou Gilchrist, Mary Ruth York, both of Asheboro, Laura Jarrell, of High Point, brothers, Hoyt Ray Russell and wife, Louise, Garland D. Russell and wife, Carolyn, both of Asheboro, grandchildren, Christy Freeman, Holly Hardister and husband, Kevin, Joshua Dickens and wife, Zaneta, Eric Hicks, Samantha Dickens, Nichole Hicks, Jacob Hicks, four great-grandchildren.
