Betty Mitchell Dawkins

Betty Mitchell Dawkins, 94, of Ramseur, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Westchester Manor Nursing Center in High Point.

Funeral Services, 4 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Beane.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Betty was a native of Lee County and a longtime resident of Ramseur. She was a graduate of Sanford Central High School and retired from the YMCA were she was employed as a bookkeeper. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was dedicated to caring for her family. Betty was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dawkins, and her parents, Jasper Alton and Pecola Pattishall Mitchell.

Survivors: daughters, Renee Dawkins Low, and husband, Byron, of Thomasville, Lynette Dawkins Shipwash, of Ramseur, J. Michael Dawkins, and wife, Karen, of Thomasville, grandchildren, Cristin Hassell, Mitchell Rosser, Michaela Dawkins, Mariah Dawkins, great-grandchildren, Peyton Hassell, Harper Rosser, Knox Rosser.

Visitation, 3 PM to 3:45 PM, Tuesday, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.
