Bettie Richardson Gaines, 88, of Ramseur, died Friday, May 26, 2023 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Graveside Services, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Strider.

Bettie was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She spent most of her career working in the restaurant industry, was owner and operator of Randolph Drive-In and worked at various restaurants within the community. Bettie was a member of Deep River Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie Dale Garner and second husband, James Edward Gaines, sons, Wade Lynn Garner, Alan Dale Garner, grandson, Tayden Locklear and parents, Walter Cecil and Dora Gibson Richardson.

Survivors: daughter, Darlene Coble, of Seagrove, sons, Richard Garner, of Ramseur, Joe Garner, of Greensboro, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends following the service and at the residence.
