Bascom Kelvin Craven

Bascom Kelvin Craven, 55, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside Services, 11:00 AM, Monday, September 21, 2020, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur. Chairs will be available at the service however you may bring your own lawn chair.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Beane, Pastor Adam Bettingfield, John Gunter.

Kelvin was a native of Randolph County, a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, and employed by Engineered Controls International LLC in Whitsett. He was a loving son, husband, dad, and pawpaw. Kelvin loved being outdoors, working and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, Willis Bascom Craven.

Survivors: wife, Christine Lunsford Craven of the home, son, Seth Craven, and wife, Brandi, of Asheboro, daughter, Kaycee Moran, and husband, Addison, of Seagrove, mother, Elaine Craven, of Asheboro, sister, Denise Freeman, and husband, Tim, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Allie Moran and Eli Craven, numerous nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in state from noon to 5 PM on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 at the Loflin Funeral Home and from 10 AM to 10:45 AM Monday, Sept. 21 at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church.
