Ava Williams Atkins, 71, of Staley, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

No services will be held.

Ava was a native of Randolph County and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving in various ways. She was a graduate of Kings College in Charlotte. Ava started work at the Bank of Coleridge in Ramseur in 1972 and spent her entire life working in the banking industry. She was an avid gardener, a former member of Ranoca Garden Club and enjoyed growing her beautiful roses for sharing with others and for competition. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Evelyn Ferguson Williams.

Survivors: husband, Larry Atkins, of the home, son, Christopher Atkins and wife, Alyson, of Staley, grandchildren, Emma Atkins, Corbin Atkins.
