Arnold Lee Gatlin, 68, of Ramseur, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at his residence.

Private Graveside Services, Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev Tim Strider.

Arnold was a native of Randolph County, member of Deep River Baptist Church, and retired from Specialty Garments. He was preceded in death by his son, Robbie Gatlin, father, Benjamin Franklin Gatlin, step father, Harold Barker, nephews, Tommy and Brad McNeill, and brother-in-law, Winfred Scott.

Survivors: wife of 48 years, Joan Scott Gatlin, of the home, daughter, Heather Creighton, and husband Patrick, of Olympia, Washington State, mother, Ruth Marley Gatlin Barker, of Ramseur, sister, Jeannie Scott, and companion, Eddie, of Asheboro, nephew, Eric Scott, sister-in-law, Pat McNeil, of Ramseur, brother-in-law's, Danny Scott, Alton McNeil, and fur friends, Toby and Albee.
