Ammie Jean Fisher Stines, 91, of Randleman, died Friday, March 8, 2024 at her residence.

Ammie was born in Buncombe County and was a longtime resident of Randolph County. She attended Mars Hill College and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Asheboro where she served as Choir Director and played piano for thirty years. Ammie was a faithful caregiver to her husband and was especially loved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alvin Stines, sons, Charles Larry Stines, Dennis Stines, daugthter, Mary Rogers, parents, Earl and Maude Boone Fisher, sisters, Evyleen Barlow, Burma Watkins, and brother, Rev.Truman Fisher.
Survivors: daughter, Darlene Reynolds, of Asheboro, son, David Stines, of Randleman, adopted son, Glenn Hulin, of Greensboro, brother, David Fisher and wife, Barbara, of Weaverville, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
