Alvin "Buddy" Nance, 73, of Franklinville, died Monday, September 20, 2021 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.
Graveside Services, 2 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro with Military Honors by the North Carolina National Guard.
Officiating, Rev. Derald Smith.
Buddy was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the First Infantry Division during his three tours of duty in Vietnam. Buddy retired from Thomas Tire where he was employed as an automobile mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin H. and Annie Corum Nance.
Survivors: wife, Clara Hill Nance, of the residence, daughters, Wendy Davis, husband, Jeremy, Angie Walser, step daughter, Rebekah Gibney, husband, Jonathan, son, Derrick Nance, wife, Golda, step sons, Wesley Martin, wife, Mary, David Henderson, wife, Joy, sisters, Linda Smith, husband, Derald, Sue Nance, grandson, Chase Davis.
The body will lie in repose on Wednesday, September, 22nd, from noon until 5 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home.
