Alton Thomas Stout, 76, of Ramseur, died Monday, June 26, 2023 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.

Officiating, Rev. Bryan Maness, Rev. Brian Faircloth, Rev. Gerald Ward.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Alton was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and was retired from Energizer Battery, Inc., with more than forty years. He was a member of Antioch Christian Church where he served as Sunday School teacher, usher and deacon. Alton was preceded in death by his son, Tim Stout and parents, Neuman and Orene Hayes Stout.

Survivors: wife, Jean Lanier Stout, of the home, son, Chris Stout, of the home, sisters, Joyce Goss and husband, Danny, of Ramseur, Barbara Street and husband, David, of Redding, CA, brothers, Nathan Stout and wife, Connie, of Ramseur, Royce Stout and wife, Marilyn, of Seagrove.

Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, Thursday, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove, and other times at the residence.
