Winfred Mitchell Scott, 67, of 3395 Deep River Church Rd., Ramseur, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his residence.

Winfred was a native of Chatham County and a longtime resident of Coleridge. He was employed at Jimmy Ward Hardwood in Sanford as a machine operator. Winfred was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Ethel Wilkes Scott, nephews, Tommy McNeill, Brad McNeill, and Robbie Gatlin.
Survivors: son, Eric Scott, of Trinity, sisters, Patricia McNeill, of Coleridge, Joan Gatlin, of Ramseur, Danny Scott, of Ramseur, grandson, Lucas Scott, of Trinity.
