William "Bill" Waylon Dunn, of Asheboro, died Thursday, August 29, 2019.
Graveside Services, 11:00 AM, Monday, September 2, 2019, at Mt. Tabor Community Church Cemetery, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Officiating, Rev. Eric Hill.
William was a native of Randolph County, a retired self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Jean Dunn, parents, William and Eula Fultz Dunn, brother, Paul Dunn, Herman Dunn, sisters, Alice Brown, Irene Berrier.
Survivors: son, Danny Dunn and fiancee, Ivy Abella, of the home, daughter, Anneda Kirk and husband, Jeffrey, of Belhaven, NC, son, Eddie Smith, of Randleman, companion, Nellie Chadwick, of the home, daughters, Alicia Lindley and husband Alan, of Snow Camp, Mary Ellen McLeande, Virginia Pugh, Becky Cox, all of Asheboro, son, Joseph Dunn, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Christopher Kirk and wife Bethany, Cailey Kirk, Kida Dunn, Franklin Smith and wife Anne, Linda Silwood and other numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Nathan Kirk, Caleb Kirk and other numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
