Walter Worth Hudson, 93, of 3810 Hwy 42 South, Asheboro, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.
Funeral Services, 11 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church.
Officiating, Rev. Tim Butcher.
Burial, Union Grove Christian Church, Asheboro.
Worth was a native of Randolph County, a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, and a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church. He worked as a knitter for twenty three years at Acme-McCrary, and retired from farming. Worth was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Macon Hudson, son, Phil Hudson, parents, Walter Wade, and Hattie York Hudson, brother, James Maxton Hudson, and sister, Rachel Clayton.
Survivors: son, Doug Hudson, and companion, Linda Brown, of Asheboro, brothers, Harry Hudson, of Ramseur, and David V. Hudson, of Valdosta, GA, grandchildren, J.D. Hudson, Beth Newcomb, Katie Brown.
