Susie Hepler Macon, 86, of Ramseur, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Butcher, Rev. Leon Thompson.

Burial, Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Susie was a native of Iredell County, employed with Burlington Industries for many years, and attended Ramseur Wesleyan Church faithfully for many years where she was a member of the choir. Even at her age she gave of her time and talent in various ways at the church. On any given weekday she could be found trimming the church shrubbery, maintaining flowers, and pulling weeds to make the landscaping look just right at the church, even up until the day before her hip fracture. She was a special lady who was always willing to help and a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. C. "Amos" Macon, her parents, Pete and Dottie Trivette Hepler, step-son, Roger Macon, sisters, Mina Kinder, Florence York, Ina Snow, brother, James McKinley Hepler.

Survivors: step daughter-in-law, Lina Macon, step grandson, Shawn Macon, both of Loganville, GA.,.several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors on 4th/North Hall at Moses Cone Hospital for their compassionate care to Susie and to her closest friends for their love and support.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, Ramseur Wesleyan Church.
