Shirley Mills Hinson, 75, of 486 Joe Caviness Rd., Bear Creek, formerly of Ramseur, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Harmony Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Frank Thacker.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Shirley was a native of Jones County, formerly employed with Ramtex, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Hinson, Sr., her parents, Robert Wayne and Henrietta Philyaw Mills, brothers, Robert Lee Mills, Glenn Mills, and sisters, Hazel Aldridge, Deloris Holly.

Survivors: daughter, Connie Caviness, of Bear Creek, son, Jesse Lee Hinson, Jr., of Ramseur, sister, Janice Snow, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Jessica Brooks, Chad Jordan, Matthew Hinson, step-grandchildren, Bethany Curtis, Samantha Maness, Cole Maness, great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Brooks, Kaleb Brooks, Shelley Brooks.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
