Sharon Dawn Jones, 65, of Ramseur, died Monday, September 17, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Graveside Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Leon Thompson, Rev. Tim Butcher.

Sharon was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed as a teacher with Randolph County Schools, and a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church. Sharon’s heart was tender and so generous. Whatever she could do for you, she would. Her handmade cards were her trademark and she showered them on her family and friends. She was the doting aunt who attended every clogging competition and ballgame and always surprised her niece and nephews with special gifts. Her beloved dog, Manny, was her “little man” who went everywhere with her, as well as her previous two doggies, Sally Sue and Sidekick— may they rest in peace. Sharon, our sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, who cannot be replaced. She is now our angel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendle and Doris Hollady Jones.

Survivors: sister, Wendy Jones-Worden, of Liberty, brother, Steve Jones and wife Rhonda, of Ramseur, niece, Tamara Jones-Worden, nephews, Easton Jones, and Slater Jones.

There will be no public visitation, however family will receive friends at other times at the home of Steve & Rhonda Jones, 735 Brady Street, Ramseur, NC 27316.
