Ruby Dean Jones Robinson, 87, of Star formerly of Bennett, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Bennett.

Officiating, Rev. Hubert McCloud, Dr. Russell Brownsworth.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ruby was a native of Randolph County and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Bennett. During her lifetime she worked in both the poultry and textile industries. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting, and was an avid gardener who enjoyed time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Stanley Caviness Sr. and second husband, Robert Ford Robinson, parents, Jessie and Ettie Kidd Jones, son, Earl Stanley Caviness Jr., brothers, Henry Bryant Jones, Melvin Earl Jones.

Survivors: daughter, Edith Dean Caviness, of Troy.

Visitation, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Bennett.
