Roger Mack Smith, 87, of 2542 Old Stagecoach Rd., Asheboro, died Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Todd Brown, Rev. Maxton Craven.

Burial, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.

Roger was a native of Randolph County, attended Holly Spring Friends Meeting, and was a retired employee of Energizer. He was a member of the Randolph Live Stock Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Jean Cox Smith, son, Franklin Ray Smith, parents, William and Primmie Brower Smith, sisters, Myrtle Craven, Opel Kirkman, Mabel Burrow, Betty Parks, Elizabeth "Dinky" Gerrean, brothers, Paul Smith, Raymond Smith, Harold Smith, sister-in-law, Vera Smith, brother-in-law, Merritt Cox, son-in-law, Michael Small.

Survivors: daughters, Judy Smith Hopkins, and husband, Gene, of Ramseur, Grace Smith Jarrell, and husband Terry, of Ramseur, Brenda Smith Small, of Denton, sons, Wayne Mack Smith, and wife, Mary, of Asheboro, Gary Lynn Smith, and wife, Judy, of Ramseur, Jeffrey Davis Smith, and wife Linda, of Asheboro, sisters, Barbara Smith Davis, and husband, Clay, of Seagrove, Doris Smith Voncannon, and husband, Ralph, of Asheboro, Virginia Smith Cox, of Asheboro, Faye Smith York, and husband, Ralph, of Asheboro, brother, Bud Smith, of Asheboro, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Alice Smith, of Franklinville.
