Rachel Coble Isley, 87, of Liberty, died Friday, June 14, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Liberty.
Officiating, Rev. Howard Spray, Pastor Ed Arroyo, Pastor Tim Isley.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Rachel was a native of Alamance County, a longtime resident of Liberty and a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had the heart of a servant and always put others first. Rachel loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a homemaker and also formerly worked in the furniture industry and in the cafeteria of Liberty School. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Elwood Isley, her parents, Clem and Dora Ingold Coble, her brother, William Paul Coble, and her sister, Mary Lee York.
Survivors: daughter, Kim Daniels and husband, Jimmy, of Liberty, son, Tim Isley and wife, Penny, of Liberty, sister, Nancy Coble and husband, Arthur, of Liberty, grandchildren, Ann Daniels, of Liberty, Phillip Isley and wife, Christen, of Kernersville, Rachel Huffman and husband, Zach, of Alexandria, VA., great-grandchildren, Nick Jeffords, Clay Daniels, Addison Isley, Austin Isley, Avery Isley, Andrew Isley, and Baby Huffman.
Visitation, 2 PM to 3 PM, Sunday, Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Liberty.
