Phyllis Knellinger Lester, 78, of 624 Oliver St., Ramseur, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 4 PM, Friday, May 5, 2017, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Isley.

Phyllis was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and was a retired machine operator at Ramtex. She was preceded in death by her husband, Argie Less Lester, grandson, Justin Lester, parents, Hobert and Helen Howes Knellinger, four sisters, and one brother.

Survivors: daughter, Ann Dillon, and husband John, of Ramseur, son, Brent Lester, of Asheboro, daughter-in-law, Shirley Lester, of Asheboro, brother, Paul Knellinger, of Eastern Shore, Maryland, grandchildren, Alicia Lester, Ryan Lester, Joshua Dillon, John T. Dillon, II, six great-grandchildren.
