Pam was a graduate of both Lees-McCrae and Appalachian State University with a degree in Special Education. She loved her Mountaineers and was a most ardent, lifelong Duke fan. Along with her husband and son, she owned T and T Farms, raising, selling, and showing Boer goats. She was happy getting to know and spending her time with fellow farmers and their families.
A beloved teacher who retired from Moore County Schools with thirty years of service, Pam was a gifted and compassionate educator and mentor. Her main goal was always to provide a safe and pleasant environment in which her students could find their strengths and enjoy learning. She was a successful basketball, volleyball, and softball coach, watching many of her student athletes go on to play in college. An exemplary teacher and coach, Pam will be greatly missed by her North Moore family, students, and players. Pam was a member of Glendon Independent Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, William Donald Phillips.
