Mary was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed with Walmart and a member of the Panther Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Hancock, and her second husband, James Routh, her daughter, Carol Sue Hancock Williams, her parents, Elisha and Ethel Woodell McKinney, sisters, Margaret Johns, Emir Coltrane, brothers, Thurman McKinney, Leonard McKinney, Curtis Woodell.
Survivors: daughter, Jane Graves, and husband, Bobby, of Franklinville, sisters, Audrey McKinnon, of Franklinville, Alice Smith, of Randleman, Helen Jones, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Stephen Williams, and wife, Lisa, Brad Brownie, and fiancee, Chasity Hinson, Ben Brownie, great-grandchildren, Bailey Brownie, Natalie Brownie, Braydon Brownie, Aurora Brownie.
