Margie Lee Kinney, 89, of Asheboro, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Mt. Tabor Community Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Steven Stowe, Rev. Dwight Ayers.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was native of Chesterfield County, South Carolina, a nursing home cook, and  a member of Mt. Tabor Community Church.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting, and gardening.   Margie was preceded in death by her husband Robert “June” Kinney, parents, Benjamin Franklin Lee and Sarah “Sallie” Gulledge Lee, sisters,  Nezzie (Jim Sings), Ruby (Willie Johns), Azaline (J L Wallace), brothers, Wilson (Ella Mae Parker), Eldridge, and Kelly.   

Survivors: , Survivors: daughters, Martha Rogers, and husband, Darrell, of Asheboro, Robbie Coble, and husband, Warren, of Asheboro, sons, Douglas Kinney and wife Renee, of Asheboro, Michael Kinney, and wife, Renee, of Castle Hayne, NC, grandchildren, Duane Rogers, Danny Rogers, and wife, Wendy, Jonathan Coble, Jeremy Coble, and wife, Holly, Marjean Nance, and husband, Nathan, Kerry Kinney, and wife Bethany, and Kyle Kinney, great grandchildren, Drew Rogers, Zackary Rogers and wife Kristy, Skyler Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Abby Rogers, Morgan Coble, Megan Coble, Sarah Coble, Sadie Coble,  Jackson Kinney and Tanner Kinney, sisters-in-law Frances (Kelly Lee) and Lois (Sheldon Kinney).
