Luther Odell Walker, 74, of Ramseur, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Butcher.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Odell was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed with Ramtex and a member of Ramseur Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ardieth Cox Walker, sister, Joyce Briden, brother-in-law, Frank Briden, brother, Clinton Walker, niece, Lorraine Brown.

Survivors: wife of 55 years, Barbara Albright Walker, of the home, daughters, Christine Barker, and husband, Monty, of Asheboro, Connie Amidon, and husband, Derek, of Ramseur, sister, Barbara Luther, and husband, Allen, of Asheboro, granddaughter, Angela Barker, sister-in-law, Audrey Walker, four nieces and one nephew.

Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, Tuesday, Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
