Laurie "Missy" Pugh Welch, 47, of Liberty, died Friday, January 24, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 2 PM, Monday, January 27, 2020, at Community Baptist Church, Siler City.
Officiating, Dr. Mark Agan, Rev. Bryan Rush, Rev. Timmy Cheek.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Missy was a native of Randolph County. She was a member of Community Baptist Church in Siler City where she taught the children in master club. Missy was employed as a case manager for Central Piedmont Action, Inc. She never met a stranger and had a heart for helping people. Her infectious smile will always be remembered by her family to whom she was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and friend. Missy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Earl "Buck" Pugh, maternal grandmother, Hazel Patterson.
Survivors: husband, Ted Welch, of the home, daughter, Macie Welch, of the home, son, Trevor Welch, of the home, mother, Sharon Walker, and husband, Darrell, of Franklinville, father, Darrell Pugh, and wife, Phyllis, of Liberty, brothers, Travis Pugh, and wife, Connie, of Liberty, Jason Pugh, and wife, Tammy, of Ramseur, paternal grandmother, Eugenia Davis Pugh, of Liberty, great niece, Hadley Mae Pugh, of the home, special nephews, T. J. Pugh, Jackson Pugh, David Pugh.
