Joseph Freeman "Joe" Lineberry, Sr., 79, of 1115 Williams St., Ramseur, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Sunday, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Dale Kennedy.

Burial, Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur, with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Joe was a native of Randolph County, and a life time resident of Ramseur, a community he loved and where he served as a Town Commissioner. He was a Masonry Contractor for many years, owner and operator of multiple construction related businesses and a veteran of the United States Army. Joe was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Snowda Owen Lineberry.

Survivors: wife, Peggy Lineberry, of the home, sons, Rodney Lineberry, of Charlotte, Charles "Chuck" Lineberry, and wife Kimberly, of Boca Raton, Florida, Joseph "Joe" Lineberry, Jr., and wife, Deborah, of N. Kawartha Ontario, Canada, daughters, Tina Brannon, and husband, Paul, of Wallburg, Sheri Moffitt, of Asheboro, sisters, Lillie Mae Suggs, of Asheboro, Rebecca Dyson, of Richmond, VA., grandchildren, Zachary Joseph Lineberry, Sydney Lineberry, Brooks Brannon, Mason Lineberry, Colin Lineberry, Jessica Hollady.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
