Perry Wycough, of Ramseur, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.
Graveside Services, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Officiating, Rev. Wayne Lamb, Rev. Rick Davis.
Perry was a native of Dewitt, Arkansas, and lived most of his life in Randolph County, and served in the United States Air Force in Korea. He retired with 36 years at Thompson and Arthur Paving Company in Greensboro as a foreman and currently as a dispatcher with Gate City Towing. He enjoyed reading, riding his ATV and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved his cats, puppy Suzi, and eating gravy biscuits and catfish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruthie Thompson Wycough, parents John Henry and Elsie McSwain Wycough, brother, Paul Wycough.
Survivors: daughters, Sandra Albright and husband Lawrence Sr., of Coleridge, Pam Wheatley, of Randleman, sons, Britt Wheatley and wife Karen, of Grays Chapel, John Wycough, of Ramseur, best friend Barbara Smithers, sister, Virginia Jane Russell, of Arkansas, brothers, Ron Dowda and wife Liz, of Texas, William Claesen, of Arkansas, grandchildren, Lawrence "Scooter" Albright, David Albright, Ashley Wheatley, Cassie Wheatley, Britt Wheatley Jr., Shannon Wheatley, Michael Moore, sixteen great-grandchildren.
