Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Monday, May 22, 2017, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Burial, Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur.

John was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed as a Security Guard with Bossong and Ramtex, served in the U.S. Navy, and attended Patterson Grove Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linzzy and Rosa Lee Reeves Morgan, son, Anthony Paul Morgan, step-son, Mark Coble, sister, Sue Carol Brown, brother, Fred Morgan, great grandaughter, Rebecca Coble.

Survivors: wife, Bessie Langley Morgan, of the home, son, John Paul Morgan, Jr., of Randleman, sisters, Mary Smith, of Burlington, Gracie Hill, and husband, Eddie, of Ramseur, Jo Ann Pugh, of Lexington, Debra Richardson, of Ramseur, Fanny Mae Richardson, brothers, David Walker, and wife, Andrea, of Asheboro, Michael Richardson, step-sons, Andy Coble, Carl Coble, both of Ramseur, four grandchildren, including two special grandaughters, Vanessa Hinshaw, and husband, Neil, and Amber Coble, four great-grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
